Enshrined into the WSSU C.E. "Big House" Gaines Athletic Hall of Fame for football he is presently the principal of Baptist Hill High School.  Winbush graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education and attained the rank of cadet Major in the ROTC in addition to being selected outstanding cadet for Communications and Electronics in April 1978. He was a four-year football letterman; Defensive Team Captain in 1976-77; Co-captain from 1977-78; selected All CIAA in 1977; selected All NAIA District 26 in 1977; led the defense in quarterback sacks from 1976-78; led the defense in tackles and assists from 1976-78 and was selected four times as player of the week. Professionally, Winbush has served as an Assistant Principal at Baptist Hill High School (2003-2004); Senior Business Analyst at Northrop Grumman Technology; Adjunct Professor at Temple University (1999-2002); and a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army.
