| Women's VolleyballWINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (9-5, 6-0 CIAA) had to dig deep to take a five-set win over the Shaw Bears (7-6, 3-3 CIAA), Thursday evening. In a match that was the Rams’ Dig Pink match, both teams gave an inspired effort in the match. After opening the match with a 21-25 loss in the opening set, the Rams posted back-to-back set wins, 25-18 and 25-16. The Rams took an 18-25 loss in the fourth set, but closed out the match with a 15-9 win.[read more]

| Women's VolleyballWINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (8-5) gave it their all, but the team came up short in a tough four-set loss to the North Greenville Crusaders (14-5), Wednesday evening. After a tough 18-25 loss in the opening set, the Rams rebounded for a 25-21 second win, but took back-to-back losses in the final two sets, 26-28, and 20-25.[read more]
October 3, 2015Rams Rally Comes Up Short In Loss To Chowan HawksWINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Rams battled until the finals seconds, but their comeback bid would come up short as Will Johnson?s 42 yard field goal attempt would be tipped at the line of scrimmage and would come up short, as the Rams fell 27-24 to the Chowan Hawks on Saturday at Bowman Gray Stadium.

The Rams were predicted to finish fifth in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Preseason Predicted Order of Finish. After finishing fourth in the CIAA Southern Division last season, the Rams will count upon a talented class of newcomers to lead the way and to live up to the high expectations this season.
