May 24, 2017 Rams Place Three Players on All-Atlantic Region Tournament Team WINSTON-SALEM, NC – Three WSSU Rams were named to the 2017 Atlantic Region All-Tournament team for their superior play in the Atlantic Region Tournament held in Jamestown, NY. 2017 CIAA Player of the Year, Ivan Acuna, was named along with Randy Norris, the new stolen base record holder at the school and Landon Steiner.
May 22, 2017 WSSU Rams Fall to West Chester Golden Rams 12-7 In Regional Finals JAMESTOWN, NY – The West Chester Golden Rams proved to be too much for the WSSU Rams on Monday afternoon, and took home the Atlantic Region Championship and trip to Grand Prairie, Texas and the DII College World Series, with a 12-7 win over WSSU.
May 21, 2017 WSSU Rams Defeat Shippensburg & Mercyhust to Advance To Regional Final On Monday JAMESTOWN, NY - The WSSU Rams outlasted the Shippensburg Raiders 9-8, and then took care of the #1 regional seed Mercyhurst, to move into the Regional Finals on Monday versus West Chester.
May 20, 2017 WSSU Rams Defeat #4 Millersville, Advance To Regional Semi Finals JAMESTOWN, NY - The WSSU Rams, the #7 seed in the Atlantic Regional, defeated the #4 seed on Saturday, the Millersville Marauders, to advance to the Atlantic Region semi Finals on Sunday.
May 19, 2017 Rams Take Down Seton Hill Griffins, 5-3, To Survive And Advance In Atlantic Regional JAMESTOWN, NY – The Winston-Salem State University Rams delivered a big blow today to team in the Atlantic Regional, with a 5-3 win over PSAC Champ, Seton Hill, in the regional to keep their hopes and dreams alive.
May 18, 2017 Miscues Costs Rams in 5-4 Loss To West Chester JAMESTOWN, NY – The WSSU Rams battled dramatically, but fell in the opening round of the Atlantic Regional of the NCAA Division II Baseball Tournament, 5-4 to the #2 seed, West Chester. The Winston-Salem State Rams (35-18), the #7 seed, had some miscues cost them against the #2 seed, West Chester in the loss.

Cheerleading Camp

WSSU Head Cheerleading Coach, Eboni Graham, welcomes all aspiring cheerleaders 4-17 years of age to the campus of Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Cheer Explosion Camp June 20-24 at the Donald J. Reaves Center. The five-day camp will take place from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., featuring members of the Powerhouse of Red and White and 2nd year WSSU alum, Coach Graham.

WSSU 7-ON-7 Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all High School Football teams to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU 7-on-7 Football Camp on June 21st. All camps are non-contact. Registration will begin at 9:00 AM in the Field House. Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, lunch, a camp t-shirt. Space is limited due to fields, please register and reserve your teams space now. Once registered, please email team rosters to Coach Natrone Means (Meansnj@wssu.edu).

WSSU Prospect Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all prospects in grades 9-12 (as of Fall 2017) to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Prospect Camp on July 12th . High School graduates may not participate. All camps are non-contact. Campers will benefit from both individual and team instruction. Fundamental skills will be taught and there will also be some individual and team competition.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CAMP

The WSSU Women's Basketball Program will hold a Team Camp, June 17th, and the cost is $200. The team camp is open to players on JV, Varisity and AAU teams.They will also hold an Elite Camp on June 18, for just $65. The Elite Camp is open to 8th through 12th graders.

Men's Basketball Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an Individual Camp, June 19th through June 21st. Second grade through fifth grade will attend from 9am to 12pm (Morning session). Sixth grade through eighth grade will attend from 1pm to 4pm (Afternoon session).

The cost of the camp is Early Bird Price $85.00.  Before June 1st, 2017 and after June 1st, 2017 Price will be $100.00.

Men's Basketball ELITE Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an ELITE Camp on August 1st on the campus of WSSU. A free t-shirt and lunch will be provided, along with a tour of campus, individual skill instruction for post palyers and guards, as well as other  on court demonstration. The cost of the ELITE camp is $50.00, and the date is scheduled for August 1st 2017.
