October 4, 2017 Rams Women's Basketball Picked to Finish Eighth in CIAA Preseason Predicted Order of Finish CHARLOTTE, NC – The Winston-Salem State University Rams women’s basketball will head into the 2017-18 season with a lot to prove as the team was picked to finish eighth in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Preseason Predicted Order of Finish, Wednesday evening. Winston-Salem State senior center Kandace Tate was also named to the 2017-18 PreSeason All-CIAA team as well.
August 21, 2017 Rams Women's Basketball to Hold Tryouts WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State University women’s basketball team will hold open tryouts on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 6:30 a.m. at the C.E. Gaines Center on the campus of Winston-Salem State University. The tryouts are open to currently enrolled students of Winston-Salem State University that are interested in joining the Rams women’s basketball team.
July 12, 2017 Rams Women's Basketball Announces 2017 Signing Class WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State University women’s basketball team will welcome a stellar cast of newcomers to the team in the fall of 2017. The Rams will welcome a quartet of players who will look to build upon a promising effort by the team in its second season under the guidance of head coach L’Tona Lamonte. The Rams wasted little time in getting their signees as the team signed three student-athletes in the fall and one in April.
