FAYETTEVILLE, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (11-4, 10-1 CIAA) extended their winning streak to six games when the team took a 5-0 win over the Lincoln (Pa.) Lions, Friday afternoon. With the win, the Lady Rams keep a six-match winning streak alive and their streak of six straight matches without allowing a match point to their opponents. With the effort, the Lady Rams haven't allowed a match point to an opponent since March 14th.
The Lady Rams got things going early when they notched a pair of 8-0 wins in doubles play and took the third doubles set win by default. WSSU junior Taylor Harris closed out the match when she took an 8-0 singles win that gave the Lady Rams the 5-0 win. The other singles matches went unfinished.
