April 14, 2017 Rams Take a 7-2 Win Over Fayetteville State for Third Straight Victory WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (9-9, 7-4 CIAA) closed out Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division play the right way when the team took a 7-2 win over the Fayetteville State Lady Broncos (3-9, 3-9 CIAA), Friday afternoon. The win was the third straight for the Rams who close out division play with a 5-2 record and in second place in the division.
April 13, 2017 Rams Take a 9-0 Win at Livingstone SALISBURY, NC – For the second time this week, the Winston-Salem State Rams (8-9, 7-4 CIAA) got a key Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Southern Division win when the team took a dominating 9-0 win at Livingstone (1-14, 1-13 CIAA), Thursday afternoon. The win marked the second in a row for the Rams and helps to secure the Rams’ hold on second place in the division.
April 11, 2017 Rams Take a Critical 6-3 Win at Johnson C. Smith CHARLOTTE, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (7-8, 6-4 CIAA) played one of their best matches when they needed it as they battled their way to a 6-3 road win over the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls (5-13, 5-6 CIAA), Tuesday afternoon at the Coleman/Cuthbertson Tennis Courts in Charlotte, N.C. The win was a critical one as the teams near the finish of the regular season and both teams playing to gain position in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA).
April 10, 2017 Rams Take 9-0 Loss to Catawba WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (6-9) gave a great effort, but the team came up short in a 9-0 loss to the Catawba Indians (13-10), Monday afternoon. The final score belied a great effort by the Rams, who battled for each point in the match.
April 6, 2017 Rams Take 8-1 Loss at Benedict COLUMBIA, SC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (6-8) gave a strong effort, but fell short when the team took a 9-0 road loss to the Benedict (17-5), Thursday afternoon. The loss was the second in a row for the Rams, but it could overshadow a strong effort by the team.
April 2, 2017 Rams Battle in 8-1 Loss to Shaw WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams (6-7, 5-4 CIAA) fought hard, but the team fell short in a tough 8-1 loss to the Shaw Lady Bears (14-2, 10-1 CIAA), Sunday afternoon. The Rams played well in the match, but the team came up just short against the division leading Lady Bears.

Cheerleading Camp

WSSU Head Cheerleading Coach, Eboni Graham, welcomes all aspiring cheerleaders 4-17 years of age to the campus of Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Cheer Explosion Camp June 20-24 at the Donald J. Reaves Center. The five-day camp will take place from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., featuring members of the Powerhouse of Red and White and 2nd year WSSU alum, Coach Graham.

WSSU 7-ON-7 Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all High School Football teams to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU 7-on-7 Football Camp on June 21st. All camps are non-contact. Registration will begin at 9:00 AM in the Field House. Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, lunch, a camp t-shirt. Space is limited due to fields, please register and reserve your teams space now. Once registered, please email team rosters to Coach Natrone Means (Meansnj@wssu.edu).

WSSU Prospect Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all prospects in grades 9-12 (as of Fall 2017) to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Prospect Camp on July 12th . High School graduates may not participate. All camps are non-contact. Campers will benefit from both individual and team instruction. Fundamental skills will be taught and there will also be some individual and team competition.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CAMP

The WSSU Women's Basketball Program will hold a Team Camp, June 17th, and the cost is $200. The team camp is open to players on JV, Varisity and AAU teams.They will also hold an Elite Camp on June 18, for just $65. The Elite Camp is open to 8th through 12th graders.

Men's Basketball Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an Individual Camp, June 19th through June 21st. Second grade through fifth grade will attend from 9am to 12pm (Morning session). Sixth grade through eighth grade will attend from 1pm to 4pm (Afternoon session).

The cost of the camp is Early Bird Price $85.00.  Before June 1st, 2017 and after June 1st, 2017 Price will be $100.00.

Men's Basketball ELITE Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an ELITE Camp on August 1st on the campus of WSSU. A free t-shirt and lunch will be provided, along with a tour of campus, individual skill instruction for post palyers and guards, as well as other  on court demonstration. The cost of the ELITE camp is $50.00, and the date is scheduled for August 1st 2017.
