Foy Named CIAA Women's Indoor Running Events Athlete of the Year


CHARLOTTE, NC – Winston-Salem State sophomore sprinter Kayla Foy was honored for a tremendous season when she was named the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women's Indoor Track & Field Running Events Athlete of the Year. She earned the honor after a stellar season with the Rams. 

Currently, Foy is building a tremendous career with the Rams. She is the nation's leader in the women's 60m dash with a 7.46 at the 2018 Camel City Invitational. She is also the CIAA in the women's 200m dash with a 24.72 at the 2018 Liberty Kick Off. Both times are 2018 NCAA Division II Provisional qualifying times.
