    PITTSBURG, KA – The Winston-Salem State Rams made their 2019 debut on the national stage when the duo of junior Ma’Kyia Gayden and sophomore Victoria Porter took the track at the 2019 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championship Meet, Friday afternoon.  Gayden put on a career-best performance to qualify for the finals of the women’s 60m dash to highlight the day.

    NEW ORLEANS, LA – After some great performances on the track during the 2019 indoor track & field season, the Winston-Salem State Rams brought home some great honors as four members of the team were selected to the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region team, Tuesday.
  • WSSU's Gayden, Porter Selected for 2019 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championship Meet

    INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The indoor track & field season isn’t over for two of the Rams as WSSU junior sprinter Ma’Kyia Gayden and sophomore sprinter Victoria Porter were both selected as participants in the 2019 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championship Meet. The duo were among 270 women selected for participation in the championship meet. The duo earned their selection after reaching provisional qualifying standards in their respective events.

    WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams indoor track & field team gave one of its best effort of the 2019 season and earned a fourth place finish in the 2019 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Indoor Track & Field Championship Meet. The Rams saw some of their top performances of the season to total 71 points at the meet.

    WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams put on some strong performances on the opening day of the 2019 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championship Meet. The Rams totaled 10 points on the first day of the meet.

    WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams track & field team will host its Spirit Night at the Hawthorne Inn & Conference Center. Fans who attend the floating event from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will give attendees the chance to get .50-cent wings and half-priced pizza at the Hawthorne Inn & Conference Center.
