April 27, 2017 Rams Perform Well to Open 123rd Penn Relays PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Winston-Salem State Rams track & field team took part in one of the top meets in the nation, Thursday as the team took part in The 123rd Penn Relay Carnival. The Rams competed against some of the top teams in the world. The Rams started the meet with some impressive performances in the relays and field events.
April 22, 2017 Rams Claim 2017 CIAA Women's Track & Field Championship BOWIE, MD – For the first time in school history, the Winston-Salem State Rams claimed the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship. The sport of track and field turned out to be a game of inches as the team had a pair of clutch performances in the women’s discus throw to clinch the team’s first outdoor track & field championship.
April 21, 2017 Rams Lead After First Day of CIAA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships BOWIE, MD – The Winston-Salem State Rams had some impressive performances on the opening day of the 2017 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Women’s Track & Field Championship Meet. The Rams totaled 48 points to jump into first place at the meet, three points ahead of #2 Johnson C. Smith.
April 8, 2017 Rams Run Well to Close Out 2017 JCSU Invitational CHARLOTTE, NC – The Winston-Salem State Rams had some strong showings at the 2017 Johnson C. Smith Invitational. The Rams had some great performances in their final meet before turning their attentions to the conference championship meet.
April 1, 2017 Rams Relay Teams Close Out 52nd Annual Berkeley Realty Colonial Relays WILLIAMSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams women’s track & field team closed out the 52nd Annual Berkeley Realty Colonial Relays, Saturday. There weren’t many events on the schedule for the Rams as the meet needed to fit high school teams along with the university division, but the Rams were impressive in the few events in which they competed.
March 31, 2017 Inclement Weather Doesn't Slow Rams at Colonial Relays WILLIAMSBURG, VA – The Winston-Salem State Rams didn’t allow inclement weather to slow them down when they turned in some great performances at the 52nd Annual Berkeley Realty Colonial Relays, Friday. The Rams powered through for strong results amidst some inclement weather that included a two-hour delay.

Cheerleading Camp

WSSU Head Cheerleading Coach, Eboni Graham, welcomes all aspiring cheerleaders 4-17 years of age to the campus of Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Cheer Explosion Camp June 20-24 at the Donald J. Reaves Center. The five-day camp will take place from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., featuring members of the Powerhouse of Red and White and 2nd year WSSU alum, Coach Graham.

WSSU 7-ON-7 Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all High School Football teams to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU 7-on-7 Football Camp on June 21st. All camps are non-contact. Registration will begin at 9:00 AM in the Field House. Teams will be guaranteed 4 games, lunch, a camp t-shirt. Space is limited due to fields, please register and reserve your teams space now. Once registered, please email team rosters to Coach Natrone Means (Meansnj@wssu.edu).

WSSU Prospect Football Camp

WSSU Head Football Coach, Kienus Boulware, welcomes all prospects in grades 9-12 (as of Fall 2017) to Winston-Salem State University for the WSSU Prospect Camp on July 12th . High School graduates may not participate. All camps are non-contact. Campers will benefit from both individual and team instruction. Fundamental skills will be taught and there will also be some individual and team competition.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CAMP

The WSSU Women's Basketball Program will hold a Team Camp, June 17th, and the cost is $200. The team camp is open to players on JV, Varisity and AAU teams.They will also hold an Elite Camp on June 18, for just $65. The Elite Camp is open to 8th through 12th graders.

Men's Basketball Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an Individual Camp, June 19th through June 21st. Second grade through fifth grade will attend from 9am to 12pm (Morning session). Sixth grade through eighth grade will attend from 1pm to 4pm (Afternoon session).

The cost of the camp is Early Bird Price $85.00.  Before June 1st, 2017 and after June 1st, 2017 Price will be $100.00.

Men's Basketball ELITE Camp

The WSSU Men's Basketball Program will hold an ELITE Camp on August 1st on the campus of WSSU. A free t-shirt and lunch will be provided, along with a tour of campus, individual skill instruction for post palyers and guards, as well as other  on court demonstration. The cost of the ELITE camp is $50.00, and the date is scheduled for August 1st 2017.
