Lady Rams Take Tough Three-Set Loss at North Greenville

TIGERVILLE, NC – The Winston-Salem State Lady Rams (11-8) took their second loss of the day when the team fell to the North Greenville Crusaders (3-18), Saturday afternoon. The loss came in spite of a strong offensive outing for the Lady Rams, 20-25, 12-25, and 19-25.  

As a team, the Lady Rams totaled 20 kills in the match, but were overpowered by North Greenville's 42 kills. The team managed 32 digs in the match as well. WSSU junior middle hitter Chelsea Violenes led the way for the Lady Rams with six kills in the match. Sophomore middle blocker Olivia Owens added five kills.
