Enshrined into the WSSU C.E. “Big House” Gaines Athletic Hall of Fame for men’s basketball Richard S. Glover was a four-year letterman for the Rams’ basketball team.  Named to the All-CIAA First Team in both the 1962-63 and 1963-64 seasons he led the Rams in scoring for two seasons en route to tallying 1,705 career points.  Glover earned a degree in Elementary Education from WSSU in May of 1964 and spent 32 years as a teacher in the East Orange Public School System.  Prior to instructing young people for 32 years Glover was a member of the Baltimore Bullets professional basketball club in 1964-65 and the Allenton, Scranton, and New Haven Eastern League basketball teams from 1965-70.
