Rams Football Adds Four to Signing Class

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Winston-Salem State University Rams football program is steadily building through some great recruiting efforts this spring. The Rams will continue to add talent this year the addition of four more players to the 2021 signing class. With the addition of the latest quartet of signees, the Rams will add some punch to its already impressive offense.

In addition to talent on the field, the Rams have made a point of bringing high character and high academic standards to the program. "We will continue to add talent to our roster to improve our program," WSSU football head coach Robert Massey said, Tuesday. "Good students, high character guys, and good, tough football players!"

With the new signees, the Rams will see their biggest boost along their offensive line where the team will add a trio of offensive linemen from Monroe High School. The Rams will add the twin duo of Omarion Rushing (6'4", 275 lbs.) and Je'marion Rushing (6'3", 315 lbs.) at the tackle and guard positions. Rounding out the trio will be offensive tackle Omarion Huntley (6'6", 300 lbs.).

The Rams will also add some talent on the perimeter with the signing of Antjuan Collins. He is a 5'9", 170 lbs. wide receiver. He is a three-time all-conference selection from Rocky River High School.

The signings come in addition of a pair of transfers, including Nate Strother from Presbyterian College and Anthony Berry from Saint Augustine's University.
