Bio

2021-22- Wynter is a sophomore at WSSU competing in track and field Wynter joined the Rams in the fall of 2020. She came to Winston-Salem State University as a graduate of Wakefield High School. The Winston Salem State indoor track and field team was back in action, January 23 at the JDL Fast Track meet. Together the Rams competed in a total of 11 events highlighted by the 4x400 team finishing in first place overall. Wynter Stample ran a time of 2:42.50 in the 800m dash and 4:11.61 in the 4x400 which gained 1st place. Furthermore, Winter Relays Jan 28-29, 2022 Wynter participated in 4x400 where she recorded a 4:06.07 which gained her 2nd place in the event. In addition, CIAA Indoor Track and Field Conference Championship Feb 13-14, 2022. Wynter participated in the 4x400 where she recorded a 4.04.45 which earned her second-place honors.

Personal: Wynter joined the Rams in the fall of 2020. She came to Winston-Salem State University as a graduate of Wakefield High School where she was a star in the classroom as well as on the track. She earned a place in the National Honor Society. She is a Psychology major and she is the daughter of Pamela and Ronnie Stample.
